This month’s issue of Home & Design magazine features an article by Jeanne Blackburn entitled, “Sheltering in Place”, where local area interior designers share their observations and suggestions on weathering the pandemic with style and grace.
Wendy was asked to contribute her commentary on the pandemic and its effect on homeowners and interior design. Her quote in the article is shown below.
“People value their homes more than ever. Home offices that are light-filled, quiet and comfortable, with adequate family space, are suddenly much more important. A designer’s challenge may be converting an old space into one that fulfills a new or higher-priority function.” —Wendy Danziger, Danziger Design LLC
The pandemic has changed how we are currently looking at design and client interactions. We have put measures in place to ensure your safety and ours. We conduct phone and Zoom meetings with clients whenever possible. When in-person meetings are necessary we wear face masks and practice social distancing. Ideally, during these warmer months we try to conduct outdoor meetings with our clients. We know that your home is your safe-haven and we are making it a priority to keep it that way.
We wanted to leave you with three home offices we designed that are light-filled, quiet and comfortable.
